Michelada Recipe
Michelada, Mexico’s Answer to the Bloody Mary
Feliz Dia de la Batailla de Puebla! Cinco de Mayo
We all love a good bloody Mary. But sometimes we want something a bit lighter. Hot days, picnics, and backyard barbecues are the perfect venue in which to roll out the Michelada recipe.
Pick your favorite Mexican beer, gather up a few ingredients, and get ready for good times and refreshing flavor!
The Perfect Michelada Recipe
Servings: 2
Prep Time: 2 min
Total Time: 2 min

1 12 ounce Mexican beer (Negra Modela is my favorite)

1 tablespoon hot sauce
2 limes, juiced
2 cups Clamato juice (tomato juice will work in a pinch)
large ice cubes
Michelada Recipe Directions
1. Combine all ingredients, except for beer, in large cocktail shaker. Mix and pour into two Tajin rimmed glasses.(See product link above) Add beer. Garnish with lime and cilantro.
