Bloody Molly | Whisky Bloody Mary Recipe
Bloody Molly Irish Cocktail
Don’t wait for St. Patrick’s day for this Irish cocktail treat. While it may not sound like a delicious savory variation of the traditional bloody Mary recipe, the Bloody Molly is exactly that! As one might expect, vodka has no place in this drink. Irish whiskey gives the drink a unique and flavorful dimension. Even people who normally do not care for Irish whiskey find this Irish cocktail to be quite tasty. (Try it- it won’t bite!)
Gather the following ingredients and crack a Guinness Stout:
Irish Cocktail Recipe:
2 Ounces Jameson Irish Whiskey
6 oz. fresh tomato juice
Large lemon wedge
tsp of freshly ground black pepper
1/8 tsp celery salt
Tbsp Worcestershire sauce
Thick sliced bacon strip (cooked)
Pour all Irish cocktail ingredients except bacon and lemon wedge over an ice filled pint glass. Squeeze lemon wedge into a cocktail shaker, then pour mixture into shaker and, you guessed it, shake! Rim a chilled glass with remaining lemon wedge, celery salt, and cracked pepper. Pour the ice-cold Irish cocktail into the rimmed glass. Crack a bit more black pepper over the top of the drink. Garnish with bacon strip or two and serve with your favorite Irish beer.
For an added treat, try rimming the glass with Demitri’s Bacon Rim Salt– Yum!
Cheers!
