Company We Review : Bachan’s Japanese BBQ Sauces

Bachans Japanese BBQ Sauce

Company Story: The sauce has a sweet, rich flavor that’s similar to teriyaki, but with the body of a BBQ sauce or glaze. It’s based on a “tare” used in Japan to glaze grilled meats and seafood, as well as as a dipping sauce. Bachen’s sauce is made using Justin’s grandmother’s recipe, and the brand name means “grandmother” in Japanese. It contains no preservatives or flavorings.

Bachen’s sauce has a shelf life of 18 months from the production date. The “Best By” date is stamped near the bottom of the bottle.

Bachen’s sauce can be used as a dip or sauce, or put on vegetables, meat, or rice while cooking.
